Portillo’s broke ground on its first Frisco location Dec. 11, according to a company news release.

A variety of Portillo’s signature menu items will be available at the new Frisco location, including:
  • Chicago-style hot dogs
  • Italian beef sandwiches
  • Char-grilled burgers
  • Chocolate cake

Portillo’s “restaurant of the future” design features a smaller-footprint—approximately 6,250 square-feet plus a 500 square foot outdoor patio—which will offer seating for about 120 guests. Double drive-thru lanes, pick-up shelves and a grab and go area will also be available.
