Cracked & Crepe offers diners fresh ingredients, a diverse menu and a welcoming atmosphere, co-owner Kevin Min said.

The backstory

The restaurant serves several American breakfast dishes along with European and Latin flavors including eggs Benedict and migas.

“Our speciality is the crepe,” Min said.

Instead of the rolled crepes, cooks at Cracked & Crepe fold them, which is how they were first served in France, Min said.

Min said he and his partners opened their first Cracked & Crepe restaurant in Aubrey in 2021 and later opened the Frisco location in December 2022.

On the menu

The restaurant offers a number of crepe flavors such as the ultimate berry crepe, which features fresh berries, a berry glaze, a vanilla glaze and mascarpone cheese. The restaurant also offers several savory crepe flavors such as ham and eggs, and chicken florentine, which features chicken breast, spinach, onions, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and hollandaise sauce.

Min said the most popular item is the traditional breakfast, which features eggs, pancakes, hash browns and a choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

What’s special about it?

Min said the restaurant uses the freshest ingredients possible for its recipes, and the staff makes fresh orange juice every morning. In addition, most sauces and toppings, including a hot sauce, used for the dishes are made in house. The restaurant also has a full bar and serves beer, wine and cocktails.
