A new apartment complex featuring affordable housing units in Frisco is set to open in mid-2028.
The Freemont Frisco Apartments will be a mid-rise, wrap-style multifamily community with 313 units, according to a news release. The investment manager firm BridgeInvest is providing a $57 million construction loan for the development. The financing deal was closed with Stryker Properties and Griffon Capital Management and will support ground-up construction, the release states.

The property will be located on 3.45 acres in central Frisco and will participate in a Public Housing Authority affordable housing program, offering a portion of units at affordable rates, the release states. The community will feature two courtyard pool areas, a fitness center and a rooftop lounge and deck, according to BBL Building Company, who is serving as the general contractor. Dallas-based Humphreys & Partners Architects is serving as architect for the project.
