An H-E-B fulfillment center could soon be coming to Frisco, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
The 51,599 square-foot building, which will be located at FM 423 and US 380 in Frisco, has an estimated construction cost of $14,439,910, according to the TDLR filing. The construction project is slated to begin in July 2026 and be completed by June 2027.
The impact
H-E-B electronic fulfillment centers, also known as “eCommerce fulfillment centers” according to H-E-B’s website, stock goods found in stores which are used to fill curbside and home delivery orders.
“These facilities allow for more capacity, greater efficiency, less aisle congestion for the in-store shopper and better product availability,” the website states. “To streamline orders and boost productivity, the facilities use various forms of automation to help partners throughout the order process.”
An H-E-B eCommerce fulfillment center opened in February in Houston. That was the ninth location the company has opened in Texas since 2018, including one in Plano that opened in 2023, according to the website.
“As H-E-B continues to grow across North Texas, the additional electronic fulfillment center will help us serve more Texans with our curbside and delivery offerings,” said Mabrie Jackson, H-E-B managing director of public affairs.
