The Links on PGA Parkway in Frisco is getting bigger.

The last two phases of construction are underway for The Links on PGA Parkway, which broke ground May 28. When it is complete, it could accommodate nearly 2,000 residents.

The details

These last phases of construction will provide an additional 620 units and 815 underground parking spaces. Amenities at the complex include pools, clubhouses, a fitness center, a grab-and-go market, golf simulator and more.

The first two phases opened in December 2021 and October 2023, bringing 690 apartments to Frisco.

The Links is the product of Carbon Companies, a Dallas-based real estate firm. The final phases come after the company secured a $125 million loan to finance the remaining 38-acres of the development, according to a news release.

What they’re saying

City Council member Tammy Meinershagen said at a May 28 groundbreaking event that The Links is appropriately named, as it acts as a connector between different parts of Frisco and the broader North Texas area.

Ed Garahan, CEO of Carbon Companies, said the project has been years in the making. He purchased the land in 2019, then collaborated with his team and the city to see what might be appropriate for the property.

Garahan said in the news release that these phases represent the “final chapter in delivering a luxury residential community in one of the fast-growing areas in North Texas.”
