Collin County health officials confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in Frisco on April 27 and no recoveries, according to city news release.

Denton County health officials announced no additional cases or recoveries in Frisco. The city's total of confirmed cases is now at 132.

However, Denton County announced an additional 12 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed locally on April 27, bringing the county’s total number of cases to 725.

So far, 344 Denton County residents who were diagnosed with the virus have recovered, 361 cases remain active and 20 residents have died due to the virus, according to Denton County public health officials.

Collin County confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19 on April 27, bringing the total case count to 676.


Of the total cases, 463 have successfully recovered, 29 are hospitalized, 167 remain in home isolation and 17 have died, according to a county release.

There are 196 current cases of COVID-19 in Collin County, per the release.
