According to new data released May 25 by the U.S. Census Bureau, the cities of Frisco and McKinney are near the top of the fastest growing large cities in the United States.

Between July 2015 and July 2016, Frisco was the second fastest-growing city in the country with a population of more than 50,000, and McKinney ranked right behind in third place during that same span.

Frisco and McKinney have ranked on the bureau's fastest-growing cities list since at least 2012. Growth has continued steadily for both cities since 2012.
