Zero Latency VR once again has a Frisco location.

The virtual reality play area first closed in March because it was too close to another Zero Latency in Addison and the two were “cannibalizing from each other,” location owner Tim Wright said.

The Frisco location is reopening at the same location now because the Addison location’s lease is ending, he said.

The Zero Latency Frisco’s reopening also coincides with the release of a new game for guests to play, Wright said. Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine VR will launch Sept. 25, according to a news release from Zero Latency.

Other games available at Zero Latency include:
  • "Undead Arena": 1-8 players. 45 minutes. Be the last one standing in a post-apocalyptic reality show pitting zombies against humans for the chance at becoming rich and famous.
  • "Far Cry": 1-8 players (mature audience only). 45 minutes. Race to get off an island where pirates hunt visitors for sport.
  • "Sol Raiders" (owner’s favorite): 4-8 players. 45 minutes. Players fight each other for control of an alien energy source.
The location is also adding a non-shooting game for families with younger children to enjoy a VR experience, Wright said.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome our guests back to Zero Latency VR Frisco,” said Jason Wright, general manager of Zero Latency VR Frisco, in the release.
