A new Tom Thumb grocery store location is slated to open in Frisco on April 17, according to a company news release.

Construction on the new location broke ground in February 2023, and it is the first of four new store openings planned for the region in 2024, according to the release. It is the third Tom Thumb in Frisco and is expected to help meet the needs of Frisco residents as the city grows, city officials said at the groundbreaking.

Tom Thumb is owned and operated by Albertsons Companies, a leading food and drug retailer in the U.S., according to the release.
