The Rail District’s newest gym is now open.

H2K Fitness celebrated its grand opening Dec. 2, co-partner Mary Peters said in a message to Community Impact.

The name “H2K Fitness” stems from the phrase “harder to kill,” words of motivation from a mountain climbing trip, according to a statement from co-partner Sam Kennedy on the gym’s website.

H2K Fitness’ classes include infrared heat workouts, strength training classes and pilates.

Joining the Rail District’s business community has been a fun experience, Peters said.

“It's just such a fun group down here, and we all offer such unique, different things that nobody is competing,” Peters said.

Artwork of Frisco’s city limits even hangs in the H2K Fitness lobby, she said.
