Lumi Beauty to bring personalized, clinical skin care to east Frisco

Lumi Beauty Studio plans to open at 7777 Warren Parkway, Ste. 200, Unit 122, Frisco, on March 28 after owner and chief esthetician Ashley Pettus decided to relocate from McKinney.

“I'm very excited,” Pettus said. “I love the area.”

Lumi Beauty Studio offers customized facials, lash lifts and chemical peels to its clients. The peels range in strength and can be used to treat a client’s acne, hyperpigmentation and more, Pettus said.

As a practicing esthetician for 11 years, Pettus also trains upcoming skin care professionals in the medical facial treatments she uses at her clinics, Pettus said.

The clinic's name, Lumi, translates to "light of life," Pettus said. The name represents a desire to bring light to her clients through her work, Pettus said.

"That is who I try to be for people and my clients," Pettus said. "The light in someone’s day."

After announcing the clinic’s new location, former clients started reaching out immediately to book an appointment, Pettus said.

“They have already bypassed me and started booking,” Pettus said. “They're like, ‘We're not going to wait on you.’”
