The town’s contractor, F&F Concrete Construction, started replacing concrete panels on southbound Morriss Road just before Forest Vista Drive on Feb. 13, according to a Flower Mound news release. The inside southbound lane will close first for the work. Once the inside southbound lane is finished, it will be opened back up to motorists. Then, crews will shut down the outside southbound lane to finish the construction.
Weather permitting, the project should be wrapped up by March 13.

“These are deteriorating sections of the roadway, so this is preventative maintenance to ensure motorists’ safety,” Flower Mound Communications Director Melissa Demmitt said.
