1. Rippy Road Phase 2 project
Project: Construction continues on Rippy Road in Flower Mound. The project consists of improvements to approximately 2,500 linear feet of existing two-lane, open-section asphalt roadway to a two-lane concrete urban collector, according to information on the town website. The project also includes an enclosed stormwater collection system to improve stormwater collection in the area and 2,000 linear feet of 12-inch waterline.
The project begins at the intersection of Rippy Road and Pecan Meadows, and extends south and east to approximately 300 feet west of FM 2499, town officials said.
Update: The water line installation is complete, and storm box installation is ongoing. Traffic on Rippy Road between FM 2499 and Cedar Street was moved to westbound only in November. The project is funded by tax increment reinvestment zone and water impact fees.

Project: Highland Village recently completed Phase 1 of its asphalt reconstruction program. City officials are scheduled to put Phase 2 out for bid later this month and will award the bid in March. Construction is likely to begin in early April.
Update: The streets included in the second phase are Sandero Drive, Bexar Drive, Victoria Drive, Malibu Drive, Inca Place, Cuero Place, Savanna Drive and Edgewood Drive.

- Cost: $3.6 million overall, but the cost is not known for Phase 2
- Funding source: Highland Village certificates of obligation bonds
Project: The project revolves around conducting concrete panel, or portion, replacements along Timber Creek Road from FM 1171 to Kirkpatrick Lane.
Update: Panel replacements near Timbercreek Elementary School and Lamar Middle School are complete. The project will resume in the spring.

Project: This work includes the installation of a new traffic signal on FM 1171 at Canyon Falls Drive. As part of this project, streetlights will be added to the signal poles to provide nighttime lighting of this intersection.
Update: The contractor is completed with underground utility work. Concrete pads and signal poles are in progress and were to be installed early February.
