The details
On Jan. 1, Town Hall, the senior center and animal adoption center will be closed, according to the town website. Both the Flower Mound Public Library and Community Activity Center will close early at 5 p.m. Dec. 31 and remain closed through Jan. 1.
Trash and recycling will also be delayed starting that day until Jan. 4. Everything will be delayed by one day until collection is complete. Wednesday’s customers will have their trash and recycling picked up on Thursday and so on.
During this modified schedule, police, fire and emergency services will remain operational at all times.
