Argyle town leaders want residents to consider serving the community by volunteering to serve on boards and commissions.

These boards and commissions can provide input and recommendations that can aid the Argyle Town Council, a news release states. The filling of the vacancies on these boards and commissions requires Town Council approval.

Residents interested in a position on a board or commission must complete a board and commission application online or stop by the town secretary's office at Argyle Town Hall to complete and submit an application. The process will include an interview by Town Council as well as a background check.

Current vacancies are listed below. For more information, residents can call the town secretary's office at 940-464-7273 or email Assistant Town Secretary Candi Smith at [email protected].
