From wine walks to a pumpkin plunge, there's plenty to do this October and November in Flower Mound, Highland Village and Argyle.

Sip and Stroll Wine Walk

The Shops at Highland Village is hosting a wine walk this fall. Attendees can donate $15 to receive a goody bag, commemorative wine glass, access to entertainment and food pairings. Whole Foods will provide the food and wine samples, which will also be available for purchase at the store.Concert in the Park

Highland Village residents can enjoy a Concert in the Park for a night of music, food and fun. The event will feature country music band Breckenridge Band. Parking will be available at Copperas Branch Park, and a shuttle service will be available.Glowing Pumpkin Plunge


Flower Mound residents can grab their neon swimsuits and towels for a nighttime glow in the dark pumpkin plunge at the Community Activity Center indoor pool. Attendees can find a pumpkin for Halloween carving or decoration in a floating pumpkin patch. The pool will be decorated with black lights for this event. After claiming a pumpkin, all registered participants can enjoy scary, fun activities outside. Preregistration is required as spots are limited.Woof-O-Ween

Flower Mound is hosting its annual dog Halloween costume contest this fall at Hound Mound Dog Park. Guests have the opportunity to win awards for most creative, scariest, best homemade, funniest and best pet/owner look-alike costumes. There will be a photo area along with treats, prizes and music.November

Fall Chalk the Walk Contest

In honor of November Arts Month, Flower Mound is hosting a sidewalk chalk drawing contest. The first 75 participants to register will receive their own set of chalk. Awards will be given for most inspiring, most unique and best fall-inspired masterpiece.
