Uncle Mike’s Bistro celebrated its grand re-opening in Argyle Oct. 4 after renovating and adding new menu items, according to its Facebook page.

The cafe was closed for renovations from Sept. 20-27, co-owner Valarie Gross said.

Renovations included opening up the dining room, adding more seating to the space, repainting and adding patio furniture, co-owner Mike Gross said. The cafe’s hours were also extended to 8 p.m. for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, he said.

New menu items were also added, including flatbread pizzas, charcuterie boards, desserts, burgers, wings and sliders, co-owner Valarie Gross said. Those menu items will only be available Thursday-Saturday from 5-8 p.m., Valarie Gross said. Breakfast items will be served every day from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and the cafe will be closed Mondays, she said.

Uncle Mike’s Bistro will be celebrating its five year anniversary on Nov. 1 and live music will be performed on the patio on Thursdays-Saturday evenings starting then, Valerie Gross said. Musicians interested in performing can call or email the business with the contact information on Uncle Mike’s Bistro’s Facebook page, she said.
