Pokemoto opened in Highland Village on Jan. 12.
The restaurant is located at 3090 Justin Road, Ste. 305. It is locally owned and operated by Lantana resident Sasha Gomez. This is the first Texas location for the franchise.

“It’s going really well,” Gomez said. “The community is definitely super excited and super welcoming.”

The franchise restaurant serves poke bowls including signature bowls like the Hawaiian, which is a Hawaiian-style poke bowl with ahi tuna and sweet onions in a spicy mayo. It also has build-your-own bowl options.

Gomez said one of the top items on the menu is the poke burrito. It is something that people can’t get nearly anywhere else, she noted.
