A new fire station in Flower Mound and industrial warehouse development in the Alliance area are among other projects recently filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Here are five of the most expensive permits filed with TDLR in the past week.
1. Industrial warehouse development
A new industrial warehouse development at Alliance Center North No. 4 will add 371,160 square feet to the west side of the shell building, according to the TDLR filing. The new addition will have two floors of open and private offices, break rooms and conference rooms. Construction is estimated to be completed before the end of the year.

2. Westside Village Jewel Box Office
A new six-story mixed-use development will be used for commercial offices and a one-story restaurant, according to the TDLR filing. The building will have a two-level parking garage near the project’s construction area. Construction is estimated to take two years.

3. Fire Station No. 6 in Flower Mound
The town of Flower Mound is constructing a new fire station with public space for the community, according to the TDLR filing. The fire station currently operates from a public works facility, according to previous reporting. Construction is estimated to take more than a year.

- Estimated cost: $15.88 million
4. Fortezza
A 12,944-square-foot, 2-story development with a rooftop deck will be constructed along Lakeside Village Boulevard in Flower Mound, according to the TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take a year.

5. Concession stand renovations for Grady Littlejohn Softball and Baseball Complex
The city of McKinney filed a TDLR permit for a new concession stand building, field spectator seating, plazas, expanded dugouts, and concrete paving for vehicular and pedestrian use. Construction is estimated to take a year.
