Bruvana Coffee House opened on Flower Mound Road in early January, owner Ali Nawazuddin said. The company tentatively plans to host a grand opening event Feb. 7, Nawazuddin added.
The coffee shop offers several coffee drinks, including dirty chai lattes, baklava lattes and strawberry matcha lattes, Nawazuddin said.
Dutch Bros Coffee is now open in Flower Mound on Long Prairie Road, according to a news release from the company.
The drive-thru shop serves specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes, teas, Rebel energy drinks and nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee, per the release.
Dutch Bros partners with local organizations focused on enriching their communities, the release states.
Dutch Bros was founded in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992 and now has 1,050 locations across 24 states, per the release.
Pennsylvania-based Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop has opened its first Texas location in Flower Mound’s Parker Square.
The store sells candy, chocolate, international snacks, toys, and over 350 types of glass-bottled sodas, according to its website. Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop also offers its $5 candy buffet, which allows customers to fit as much candy into a box for a fixed price, according to its website.
The company has more than 20 locations across the United States, per its website.

The Learning Experience will offer early education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old in Argyle this summer, said David Slavny, the executive vice president of development of the academy.
The Learning Experience utilizes various enrichment programs such as philanthropy, music, engineering, goal setting, manners and etiquette, and foreign language, Slavny said.
The preschool and day care center has more than 430 centers open across the nation, Slavny said.
A new Frenchies Modern Nail Care location is coming to Justin Road in Highland Village, according to documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The documents state that construction will start in mid-February and be completed in early March.
The nail salon offers manicures and pedicures, and personal care products like healing hand cream and hand and body soap, according to the company's website.
FirstLight Home Care will offer living assistance to seniors and people with disabilities in the Flower Mound and Grapevine Lake area, starting in early February, President of the Flower Mound location John Lee said.
The company employs trained assistants to provide non-medical in-home care to aging seniors and people with disabilities to help with daily activities.
“Trained, fully licensed and fully insured, we make sure they’re trained to do the job," Lee said.
FirstLight operates three other locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, in Frisco, Plano and Denton.
