A new Image Studios Salon Suites location is set to open in Flower Mound.

According to its website, the company leases spaces to independent beauty professionals to work in. The studios are equipped with shampoo bowls, mirrors, special lighting and more.

Image Studios has locations across the country, including ones in McKinney, Plano, Richardson and Grapevine.

Owner Lavanya Menta said construction on the new salon is underway. According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction is expected to cost $500,000 and wrap up in February. Menta said the new salon is expected to open in April.
