There are three businesses slated to close in Highland Village and Lewisville.

1. Barnes & Noble to close Lewisville bookstore

Barnes & Noble plans to close its Lewisville location on May 21. The store is located at 2325 S. Stemmons Freeway, Ste. 401. Barnes & Noble offers a wide selection of books, music and movies. Its stores also feature a toys and games section as well as a cafe. The Lewisville location is having a storewide sale in an effort to clear its shelves.

2. Hazel + Honey Boutique closing Highland Village location June 25

Boutique shop Hazel + Honey will be shuttering its doors at The Shops at Highland Village this summer, according to a post on the business's Facebook page.




The store opened at its current location in January 2022.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we will be closing Hazel + Honey on June 25," the post read. "[Co-owner] Becky [Crouch] has decided to re-retire and dedicate 100 percent of her time and attention to her friends and family."

3. Tuesday Morning location in Lewisville expected to close

Tuesday Morning's last remaining Lewisville location will close as the company goes out of business. The store is located in the Vista Ridge Shopping Center at 2325 South Stemmons Freeway, Ste. 103. The company also recently closed its Lewisville Towne Crossing store after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in February. It was located at 4750 SH 121, Ste. 300.
