Transportation updatesHardin Boulevard, McKinney Ranch Parkway widening

Paving and striping along Hardin Boulevard is expected to be complete sometime in August, and the newly constructed roadway is expected to be open to the public by the end of August. Meanwhile, traffic on McKinney Ranch Parkway between Hardin and US 75 will be detoured as crews construct the southern portion of the road. 

When complete, Hardin will be widened from four lanes to six lanes between SH 121 and McKinney Ranch, and McKinney Ranch will be widened from two lanes to four lanes between Hardin and US 75.

Transportation updatesVirginia Parkway widening

Paving operations for the median widening will continue along Virginia Parkway from Ridge Road to Bellegrove Drive. Lane closures are expected, and at least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

When complete, there will be an additional lane of traffic in each direction of Virginia from US 75 to Ridge.

The rehabilitation and repair of White Avenue from US 75 to Graves Street is expected to continue until the end of September. Drivers can expect delays on White during construction. Temporary northbound and southbound closures will take place on Redbud Boulevard at White in early August.

July-September

Construction crews are reconstructing the roadway and water and sanitary sewers along Cole Street from Bass to College streets. When complete, there will be additional storm sewers and sidewalks along Cole.
