The first boundary adjustment is for College Street Elementary, which will be replaced with a new elementary school on Mill Street.
The boundary adjustment for the elementary on Mill includes expanding the current College Street boundary, which will allow more families to access a school in their own neighborhood, according to LISD officials.
The adjustment also takes a portion of students currently zoned to Lewisville Elementary School and moves them to Central Elementary, which will keep Lewisville Elementary from getting too crowded and having to place classes in portable buildings. Some Central Elementary students will be rezoned to the new elementary school as well.
The second boundary adjustment is for Hedrick Elementary School, which is being retired at the end of the school year. The boundary adjustment uses existing space at Degan, Parkway and Vickery elementary schools to house the Hedrick Elementary students.

Trustees were also presented with proposed boundary adjustments for Flower Mound Elementary School and Bridlewood Elementary School. The proposed adjustment takes a portion of students zoned for Flower Mound and rezones them to Bridlewood. Bridlewood has a current enrollment of 400 students and is at 51 percent of optimal capacity. Flower Mound has a current enrollment of 484 students and is at 84 percent of optimal capacity. Administration has planned informational meetings on this map for the following dates and times:
o Bridlewood Elementary - Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m.
o Flower Mound Elementary - Dec. 6, 6:30 p.m.
A second proposed boundary adjustment presented at the meeting was for some students to be rezoned from Bluebonnet Elementary School to Old Settlers Elementary School.
