The Collin College Faculty Council will host a public forum for candidates running for a place on the Collin College board of trustees for the May 6 election.
The forum will take place at 2:30 p.m. March 17 in the Collin Higher Education Center boardroom, 3452 Spur 399, McKinney.
“As educators, we strive to advance our students as critical thinkers, engaged learners and competent contributors to society,” Faculty Council President Regina Hughes said in a news release. “Further, we know building and sustaining a strong, vibrant and innovative center of academic excellence requires visionary leadership.”
The candidates expected to appear include Greg Gomel and Fred Moses for Place 1; Nancy Wurzman and Jeri Landfair Chambers for Place 2; Stacey Donald and Larry Wainwright for Place 3; and Raj Menon for Place 5.
