Frisco Springs Frisco Springs development will 350 home on 96 acres of land.[/caption] Plano-based Green Brick Partners, Inc. announced plans for a $170 million, 350-home community in Frisco. Green Brick acquired 96 acres on Eldorado Parkway between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road for a residential development called Frisco Springs. The development will include townhomes and traditional single-family homes. Jed Dolson,Green Brick’s head of acquisitions, said in a statement the first phase of residential development would begin in early summer, with model homes opening in spring 2017. “Frisco Springs will be one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Frisco and only minutes from the $5 Billion Mile,” Dolson said. All the planned townhomes will be built by Green Brick Partner’s subsidiary, CB JENI Homes, which is the same homebuilder for the Canals at Grand Park in West Frisco. “We are excited to expand from our Canals at Grand Park experience, offering homes targeting empty nesters and young professionals with even better amenities and access to employment centers ay Legacy West and Frisco Station,” Steve Schermerhorn, CB JENI Homes division president, said in a statement. The homes will be designed around 20 acres of open space with walking trails. Home owners will have access to a $1.5 million dollar amenity center, complete with a pool, workout room and entertainment areas. The single-family home sites will be up to a quarter acre in size and are planned for sale to third party builders.
