The facility, which is leased and operated by a third-party logistics partner, Lotte Global Logistics, totals 232,000 square feet. Avila said there are 40 employees in the Denton operation, but there are plans to expand the team as operations continue to ramp up. At peak capacity, 20,000 orders per day are expected to be fulfilled in the Denton building, Avila said in an email.

iHerb sells a selection of products, including:
  • Vitamins
  • Supplements
  • Personal care and beauty products
  • Grocery items
The Denton facility is climate controlled, Avila added, at 74-75 degrees and has large walk-in refrigeration units for items like probiotics, which require lower regulated temperatures.

“We’re thrilled to expand our fulfillment capabilities to the great State of Texas,” said Zach Thomann, chief operating officer for iHerb, in a news release. “With DFW’s central location, strong infrastructure, and global airport hubs, this new facility allows us to serve our customers faster—sometimes with next-day delivery—while supporting iHerb’s mission of making health and wellness accessible to all.”
