1. Military Day at the Frisco Athletic Center
There will be free admission to the Frisco Athletic Center all day Friday for retired and active military from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. As part of the event, the party pavilions at Frisco Water Park within the FAC will be reserved all day for military families only. 2. Live Music and Art
Expedition Church presents “Live Music and Art” featuring guitarists Carlo Pezzimenti and John Wynn, along with artist Ty Fawley. 3. Frisco Rotary Farmers Market
The farmers market returns this weekend. Local growers and vendors sell their fresh fruits and vegetables as well as pasture-fed beef, pork, lamb and eggs. 4. A Night of Improv

5. North Texas State Miss Magnificent
Collin College’s Preston Ridge Campus will host the third annual North Texas State Miss Magnificent Pageant. Pageant is free and to participate you must register online. Miss Magnificent pageantry is a nonprofit that hosts free pageants for individuals with special needs to promote their self-esteem, confidence and communication skills. Miss Magnificent pageants are open to boys and girls, men and women—anyone with a special need ages 5 and up. All contestants receive a sash, crown, trophy and goody bags.
