Flower Mound Town Council will host its second and final public hearing on the proposed tax rate for the upcoming fiscal year at 6 p.m. in Flower Mound Town Hall on Sept. 3.

The proposed tax rate for the 2019-20 fiscal year is $0.439 per $100 of assessed property valuation, according to town documents. The tax rate and budget will be up for adoption during Town Council’s regular meeting Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.

Flower Mound will raise $3.1 million more in revenue from property taxes than it did in the 2018-19 fiscal year if the Town Council adopts both the proposed budget and tax rate, according to town documents. This would be a 6.33% increase from last year.
