Orvis, an outdoor retailer, will celebrate its grand opening May 29-31 at 101 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 400, Southlake.

While the entire weekend is filled with promotions, there will be special events on May 30, which include (while supplies last) free commemorative pint glasses, a free water bottle with a $100 purchase, and free food and refreshments.

Saturday's event also includes a chance to win a $1,000 gift card, live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Riley Wilson and an appearance from Jane Metz, an outdoor sports fine arts artist.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to Reel Recovery, the store's conservation partner for the event.

Orvis opened April 25 in Park Village selling men's and women's clothing, and hunting and fishing equipment. Hours are Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
