Cupcakery serves up new item—cupcakes in a jar

Smallcakes, a cupcakery at 5999 Custer Road, Ste. 115, celebrated its six-month anniversary in mid-June.

Owner Wendy Rodgers said business is booming.

"Smallcakes Frisco has the best, most loyal customers who are helping us spread the word about our delicious, moist cupcakes baked fresh daily," she said. "We absolutely love this area and look forward to meeting even more cupcake enthusiasts."

The eatery serves up a rotating menu of 16 cupcake flavors with different daily specials.

The cupcakery just started offering cupcakes in a jar, which can be ordered in any flavor if a dozen are ordered.
