More votes were cast on the first day of early voting at the Allen Municipal Complex than at any other site in Collin County. More than 1.5 million Texas residents are registered to vote in this election, according to the Texas Secretary of State's office, a record figure and a five percent increase from the primaries earlier this year. In total, about 78 percent of voting-age Texans can vote between now and Election Day on Nov. 8. Many of those voters wasted no time in casting ballots by participating in the first day of voting on Monday. Collin County alone received 31,283 ballots—not counting mail-in and limited ballots. Early voting in Collin County ends at 7 p.m. Nov. 4. Here is where the most early voting ballots were cast in Collin County on Monday.
