Cy-Fair ISD officials reported 73 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on campuses from March 22-28, including 25 staff members and 48 students across the district.
This brings the district’s total number of cases reported since the start of the 2020-21 school year to 3,518. As of March 29, CFISD has reported 77 active cases and 3,441 recoveries.
The Texas Education Agency requires public school districts throughout the state to submit a weekly report detailing the number of test-confirmed positive COVID-19 cases among students and employees who participate in any on-campus activity. This data does not include students learning remotely and may not include those who test positive while in quarantine if they were not on campus during their infectious period.
