Founded in 1996, Drake Plastics officials announced the plastic company is celebrating 30 years serving Cypress as well as expanding with a new facility in March. The grand opening for the new facility will be held on March 21.

Per previous Community Impact reporting, the new 143,000-square-foot Drake Plastics headquarters broke ground on Nov. 3, 2023.
The new production and headquarters facility is being built in its current 45-acre site as a result of Drake Plastics growing demand, officials said.
