Community Impact Newspaper, a nationally award-winning newspaper group reaching more than 1.7 million Texans in 34 communities, is now using its state-of-the-art press for a growing number of clients. In 2016, Community Impact built a $10 million printing press at its headquarters outside of Austin, Texas. The press has allowed the company to greatly improve its editorial relevancy to readers and improve targeted marketing options for advertisers. Today, all 22 Community Impact editions are printed in-house, and since the start of the year organizations like the Round Rock Express, Austin Independent School District and the Hill Country Sun have chosen Community Impact Printing for select products. “Building our own press has been a game changer in terms of the quality of product we’re able to offer our readers and advertisers,” said John Garrett, CEO and Founder of Community Impact. “And now because of the capabilities our press offers, we’re able to extend these services to organizations and advertisers.” These are some of the Community Impact Printing services:
  • Print Management Solutions: For specialized print jobs, the company offers design services and can facilitate any print or paper marketing requirement, including tri-fold brochures, menus, bound publications, postcards and everything in between.
  • In-House Printing Solutions: The company is able to provide direct mail pieces of any size, including flyers, brochures, tabloid and broadsheet publications, as well as saddle stitching capabilities.
“From design to delivery, we offer turnkey mail- and print-management services that fulfill everything you need to not just meet the status quo, but to exceed it,” said Will Dahlstrom, Vice President of Manufacturing at Community Impact. Recently, the company launched www.communityimpactprinting.com, which showcases the organization’s printing capabilities and product offerings.
