With a new sign and brand, HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is hoping to provide more services to its patients.

Located at 504 Medical Center Blvd., Conroe, the hospital unveiled its new sign June 25 to a crowd of medical professionals, business partners and community members. CEO of the Conroe hospital Matt Davis said being part of the HCA brand allows patients access to resources from other hospitals.

“A common brand further allows us to connect the dots with the rest of our network,” Davis said. “In short, there will be more visible access points. So regardless of what patients need, they know our HCA Houston Healthcare family has them covered.”

Davis said by joining the largest health care system in the country, the Conroe location will also be able to begin using advanced programs such as Spot, an algorithm that determines whether a patient is susceptible to becoming septic.

“We are able to directly lower the mortality rates of patients in our care,” Davis said. “The scale and expertise of HCA has changed the paradigm of care for patients in our hospital.”

Complete rebranding of the hospital campus will take approximately four months, according to Davis, including the sign on the service road. Laura Littlejohn-Lupton, director of North Quadrant Strategic Communications, said some hospitals will be rebranding into January.

Littlejohn-Lupton said there will be no disruption of services while the signs and other branding materials are being replaced.
