Food truck park, flea market Rio Plaza Conroe coming soon 

Rio Plaza Conroe is a new food truck park and flea market offering a two-acre space for several food trucks and flea market booth spaces.

Rio Plaza Conroe officials said the business is opening on May 4 and May 5 with a Cinco de Mayo celebration from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. The event will include music, over 40 vendors offering Mexican food, desserts and drinks as well as clothing, jewelry and plants.

What they offer

Co-owner Erick Estrada said he hopes to hold 10 spaces for food trucks and 20-30 spaces for flea market vendors.

The family business includes several owners including Chris Estrada and Honesima Estrada who hope to expand the business to a 10-acre property, Erick Estrada said.

“What inspired us is the fact that we can host a place where people will gather and make money from their own business but at the same time have fun,” Erick Estrada said.
