Spread & Co., a new restaurant from husband-and-wife team Rosemary and Austin Ewald, opened Oct. 22 at 1601 W. 38th St., Unit 1, Austin, in the space previously occupied by Russell’s Bistro. Rosemary founded Spread & Co. in 2016 as a cheese board delivery service; the counter-service restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch fare with a focus on gourmet cheese.
