Colton House Hotel, a three-story, 80-suite hotel at 2510 S. Congress Ave., Austin, opened in December. Hai Hospitality, the restaurant group that includes Uchi, Uchiko and Loro, announced Nov. 9 it will expand its restaurants to additional locations after an investment of an undisclosed amount from a private equity firm. Chef Tyson Cole, who originally opened Uchi in 2003 at 801 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, will remain at the helm of Hai Hospitality. The investment firm, KSL Capital Partners, has raised $13 billion in capital since 2005, according to a press release.
