Company to launch third, yet-to-be-named concept in 2016

Michi Ramen opened a second location in 2015, and a new concept from ownership is in the works for 2016.

The ramen noodle eatery opened a takeout- and delivery-only location June 17 on South Lamar Boulevard. Dine-in and takeout is still available at the original North Lamar Boulevard location.

And the team behind the restaurant intends to open a new concept in 2016 at The Hole in the Wall on Guadalupe Street in the same space previously occupied by East Side King.

Management confirmed the company is expanding but will not use the Michi Ramen name at the new location, which does not yet have an opening date.

No other details on the new project have been made available.
