Here are winter storm updates for Cedar Park and Leander residents as of Feb. 18.
H-E-B announced that their Leander, Lakeline and US 183-FM 1431 stores will be closed Feb. 18. Other stores will open from noon-5 p.m.

Warming centers
Williamson County opened several warming centers Feb. 16. Centers are not set up for extended or overnight stays. The centers are designed for temporary warming and power recharges but are also at risk of power loss or other service interruptions.
Hill Country Bible Church, located at 3300 Little Elm Trail, Cedar Park, is open as a warming center. Pets are welcome in crates.
People are asked to bring their own food, water, blankets, outerwear and chargers to warming centers. For questions about Williamson County shelters, call 512-943-1700. Several churches also opened as warming centers in the Austin area through the Austin Disaster Relief Network.
Utility outages
Pedernales Electric Cooperative is reporting 8,800 outages systemwide on the morning of Feb. 18. Residents are urged to not call 911 to report outages. PEC customers can call 888-883-3379 to report an outage if the outage has lasted over three hours and they have tried their breakers.

PEC is not currently issuing rolling outages, according to a company spokesperson. As of 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18, there is no estimate on when rolling outages may restart.
A boil-water notice was issued for all Leander customers Feb. 16. The city said some customers may have reduced or lost water service. The city expects customers could be without water for two days or more of 9 a.m. Feb. 17.
Until further notice, the city is also under Stage 4 of its drought contingency plan. The city-operated Sandy Creek Water Treatment Plant has stabilized power, according to the city, but it could take five to seven days to refill elevated storage tanks and water mains. The city asks residents to conserve water to not prolong the process. The boil water notice will be in effect several days after water is restored, according to the city.
Leander has also reported a natural gas service outage in the north Travisso subdivision. The outage is expected through at least Feb. 19, per the city. Residents may call Atmos Energy at 888-286-6700 with questions.
There is no boil water notice for Cedar Park water customers. According to the city, there are no issues with the city's public water distribution system, and the city has no plans to shut off water. The city said it would notify customers of any changes.
"We are encouraging residents not to use an unnecessary amount of water at this time as that puts additional strain on the system—so use what you need and no more," the city said on its website.
Road conditions
Roads remain unsafe for drivers. Police departments are urging drivers to stay home. The Cedar Park Police Department has reported slick and icy road conditions.
Central Texas toll roads, including 183A Toll from San Gabriel Parkway to RM 620, remain closed until further notice.
US 183 and 183A Toll are closed at the South San Gabriel River due to ice, according to a Texas Department of Transportation tweet.
