Cedar Park single-family home sales dropped by 49.6% in April as compared to the same month in 2019, according to Austin Board of Realtors monthly data released May 19.
The city saw 64 closed sales in April. ABoR attributed the nearly 50% drop in sales to social restrictions due to coronavirus concerns.
However, the median price for Cedar Park’s single-family homes increased in April to $349,500, a 7.5% increase from a year ago.
The number of closed sales in Leander, meanwhile, reached 116 in April, a 6.4% increase over April 2019.
