Here are updates on two housing-related developments underway in Cedar Park and Leander.
Park Place at Old Mill
A new townhome community is under construction in Cedar Park and is anticipated to reach completion near the end of 2024.
Called Park Place at Old Mill, the development will feature 72 two-story townhomes with prices starting in the mid-$450,000s. There will be three- and four-bedroom units along with 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 bathroom options.
The townhomes will feature floor plans with open living rooms and kitchens, bath suites with double vanities and walk-in showers, and electric vehicle charger-ready ports in the garages.
Community amenities include game rooms, wide terraces for outdoor living space and luxury finishes throughout the development, according to builder and developer PrimeHaven Homes.
Located off South Lakeline Boulevard at 590-595 Old Mill Road, Cedar Park, the community will be near Cedar Park’s upcoming Lakeline Park, which is in the first phase of construction.
The 13.5-acre development is accessible to major roadways such as 183A Toll and SH 45, and it is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Austin.
Nearby schools include Reed Elementary School, Henry Middle School and Vista Ridge High School.
Construction on the new townhome community began last August. Fatima Jaffer, a Realtor at Ben Kinney Team—the development’s real estate company—said Park Place at Old Mill is 40% presold.

Emerson at Leander
Construction on the Emerson at Leander continues to progress with the 352-unit apartment complex slated to be fully complete in September, a company representative said.
The development—located at 1101 Halsey Drive, Leander—will have one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
Amenities include a pool, an entertainment kitchen, a game room, a community garden, a bark park and pet spa, and an outdoor fireplace.
