EcoMicron, a company specializing in semiconductor equipment procurement, refurbishing and reconfiguration, will be bringing its headquarters to Cedar Park following council’s unanimous approval of an economic development agreement on April 25.
Founded in 2008, the company also offers business development and technical solutions for manufacturers in the semiconductor, photovoltaic and hybrid industries, according to city documents.
The conditions
The agreement to bring the company’s headquarters to Cedar Park will create 48 full-time jobs with an average salary of $110,000, Assistant Director of Economic Development Scott Smith said. He said quite a few of the jobs will be in engineering and research development.
