EcoMicron heading to Cedar Park, offering equipment support in semiconductor industry

If EcoMicron meets the relocation and job creation terms outlined in the agreement, Cedar Park will provide a total incentive of $750,000.

What to expect

The company will be relocating its headquarters from San Jose and is expected to occupy a facility located at 1706 E. New Hope Drive, Cedar Park, by Dec. 31. The new facility spans about 25,000 square feet and is located within the La Jaita Business Park.

EcoMicron’s Cedar Park facility will have an $11.5 million capital investment, which includes the purchase and cost of the building as well as $6 million worth of equipment, Smith said. Further, the company will generate about $3 million per year in sales tax for Cedar Park.
