College Station Dave & Buster's announces fall opening date

Sports bar, restaurant and arcade franchise Dave & Buster’s has announced its opening date set for October at Post Oak Mall in College Station.

As previously reported by Community Impact, the $12.8 million project took over Conn’s after it closed in 2024. Construction started at the 31,000-square-foot facility earlier this year, adding a new service yard.

Teriyaki Madness expands to College Station in September

Asian-inspired and teriyaki-infused restaurant Teriyaki Madness has announced an opening date for its College Station location.

The Seattle-based restaurant chain serves bowls inspired by Asian cuisine with chicken, steak, tofu and fresh vegetables. Customers can also order sides such as egg rolls and crab rangoon.

Texas A&M regents adopt 5-year strategic plan for student success

The Texas A&M University Board of Regents adopted a five-year plan, with student success as a key goal, after a year-long approval process during its third-quarter 2026 meeting on Sept. 3.

According to a news release, the 2026-2031 A&M System Strategic Plan has four drivers for the university, with student success listed as the highest objective.
