Why are you running for this position?
I am running to continue serving House District 14 and ensure our community has a strong voice in Austin. I will work to keep Texas economically strong, protect taxpayers and private property, support education and public safety, and ensure our infrastructure keeps pace with our rapidly growing community.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Rapid growth is putting pressure on our roads, housing, water, electricity, schools, and public safety. We must plan responsibly so infrastructure keeps pace while protecting taxpayers, neighborhoods, farms, ranches, and private property. Growth should strengthen our community without sacrificing the quality of life that makes Brazos County special.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?
Texas must prioritize reliable electricity, long-term water supplies, transportation infrastructure, education, and workforce development. Our state’s population and economy continue to grow, and our infrastructure must grow with them. We need long-term investments that strengthen grid reliability, secure future water supplies, improve mobility, and prepare Texans for tomorrow’s jobs.
How will you balance the development of data centers and other large projects with constituent concerns about rapid growth?
Texas should welcome investment and job creation while protecting taxpayers, property owners, and natural resources. Growth should pay for growth. Large projects should bear their fair share of infrastructure costs, particularly electricity and water demands. Constituents also deserve transparency and meaningful input when major developments could significantly affect their communities.
How will you ensure your constituents can access affordable housing?
We must increase housing supply, reduce unnecessary regulatory costs, invest in supporting infrastructure, and continue providing meaningful property-tax relief. Texas needs housing options for working families, young professionals, students, and seniors. Government should remove unnecessary barriers to housing while ensuring growth is supported by adequate roads, water, and other infrastructure

Why are you running for this position?
Texans who pay the bills deserve honest, ethical representation. I’m running to speak truth to power, stand up for taxpayers, and bring steady, practical leadership. With four decades in state and local governmental audit, accounting, management, and leadership, I know how to get results and protect public dollars.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
District 14’s biggest challenges are keeping our excellent public schools strong, protecting academic freedom, and making life more affordable. Families are feeling the squeeze, and they need leaders with integrity, common sense, and the courage to put people before politics.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of<br>Texas?
The legislature should focus on the basics that matter most: affordability, strong public education, reliable infrastructure, water use and planning, and good government. Texans deserve honesty, accountability, and policies that stretch every taxpayer dollar while keeping public money out of private projects.
How will you balance the development of data centers and other large projects<br>with constituent concerns about rapid growth?
Growth should happen with communities, not to them. County commissioners and local residents should have a real seat at the table when large projects are proposed. Texas should respect local control, require infrastructure planning, and make sure development fits the community and serves the people who live there.
How will you ensure your constituents can access affordable housing?
We need more homes at more price points. Texas communities should broaden housing options and tackle the costs that drive prices up: property taxes, insurance, utilities, and maintenance. I’ll support practical, Texas-smart solutions that help working families, teachers, nurses, and young people afford a place to live.

Why are you running for this position?
The most important reason is giving the voters of this district a choice. Democrats and Republicans have worked together to strip you of your freedoms and grow government at every level. I am the only candidate running on reducing goverment and fighting for your freedom to live your own life.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Rising costs, rising tax burden, government trying to control what you can and cannot do with your body, your life and your business.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?
As Barry Goldwater once said "My goal is not to pass laws, but to repeal them." There are too many laws, too many regulations, too many taxes! My top priority would be to reduce the government burden on all people, and allow them to live as they see fit.
How will you balance the development of data centers and other large projects with constituent concerns about rapid growth?
We do not need government moratoriums, central planning, or heavy-handed state bans to manage growth. By removing taxpayer subsidies, enforcing strict liability for property damage, and making industries pay their full cost of doing business, a truly free market will allow all Texas residents to be secure in their rights.
How will you ensure your constituents can access affordable housing?
Support repeal of all state laws and regulations that make selling/renting at a fair market price too difficult. Though I wouldn't be able to do anything about federal policies which raise inflation and interest rates, I would do my best to make sure the Texas legislature doesn’t make it worse.
