What will be your biggest priority, if elected?
My biggest priority is providing transparency and accessibility to your county commissioner. This comes with understanding why decisions are being made with your tax dollars, and where the money is benefiting citizens in Brazos County. Being accessible to residents helps alleviate public concerns and provides accountability.
Why are you running for this position?
I’m running for this position because Precinct 4 needs a responsive and accessible commissioner. This precinct is one of the fastest-growing areas of Brazos County and that requires a commissioner that is planning growth in a fiscally responsible manner. It’s time for a change in Precinct 4.
What transportation projects would you like to see the county prioritize?
Any transportation projects in Brazos County need to be driven by data and public need. When a transportation project comes up for discussion, the rights of property owners need to be taken into consideration with public input and accessible information. East-to-West traffic is my biggest concern with transportation.
If elected, how would you address the county’s ongoing population growth?
Proper planning and evaluation of the infrastructure to support the growth. Our internal planning must be in place to support the inevitable growth of the county, so the taxpayers are not unfairly burdened. Growth pays for growth, and working with all entities involved requires an involved commissioner in Precinct 4.
How will you involve residents in decisions?
I plan on hosting quarterly town halls in Precinct 4 with citizens, organizations, and business owners after working hours. My goal is to be accessible to residents during business hours downtown, and after hours at the VFW. Your elected officials should be available full-time to involve residents in decisions.

Review internal processes to identify and resolve negative impact events.

Was inspired through gaining knowledge from 3 prior office holders.
What transportation projects would you like to see the county prioritize?
Work to bring toll road income to Brazos County.
If elected, how would you address the county’s ongoing population growth?
Work with the commissioners to monitor new projects and align with infrastructure.

Solicit resident knowledge and ideas through survey.
