Early voting runs from Oct. 19 to Oct. 30, and Election Day is Nov. 3.

Why are you running for city council?
I’m running because I care deeply about Bryan and the people who call it home. I believe good representation starts with listening and being present. I want to learn more, understand the issues fully, ask the right questions and use that knowledge to make informed decisions that move our community
What challenges does Bryan face?
Bryan is growing, and one challenge is making sure our infrastructure and quality of life grow with it. Streets, drainage, housing, transportation and aging infrastructure deserve continued attention. We also have to balance new development with investment in established neighborhoods and ensure residents understand the decisions shaping their community.
What projects are most important for the city to focus on for the future of Bryan?
Infrastructure is a priority, particularly streets, drainage, water and sidewalks. I also believe we should continue examining parks, neighborhood revitalization and economic development. As Bryan plans for the next 10 to 20 years, I want to better understand where investments are most needed and how they will serve residents long-term.
Transportation was identified by the Brazos County Health District’s most significant barrier to care. Do you believe Bryan has enough public transportation or pedestrian/cyclist mobility to support residents seeking care? If not, how would you fix that?
I believe there is room for improvement. Before proposing a solution, I want to understand where the greatest gaps exist and hear from residents who rely on these services. We should examine transit partnerships, routes, sidewalks and safe connections to determine what practical improvements would make essential services more accessible.
How will you ensure your constituents can access affordable housing?
Affordable housing requires more than one solution. I want to understand what is working, where the gaps are and how we can strengthen existing resources. Bryan already offers homebuyer and home-repair programs. I want to explore how we expand awareness, partnerships and housing opportunities while protecting established neighborhoods.

A growing city like Bryan is constantly faced with social, economic and future growth issues. The quality of life for Bryan is based on economic development, marketability and sustainability. How we maintain, retain and sustain our city are challenges that face our city.
What projects are most important for the city to focus on for the future of Bryan?
Infrastructure, quality of life, health and safety are the common denominators for future growth of our city. Focusing on these objectives equates to leaving it better than you found it.

The transportation service or' the lack thereof' not only affects the health of our citizens, but, the growth of our city. Bus stops that are user friendly, seating, posted routes and times with extended services including weekends are paramount for the for the future growth and development of the city.
