NY Street Dogs, an authentic New York-style hot dog restaurant, has opened in Bryan near College Station’s Northgate district.
What Street Dogs offers
The restaurant serves 100% Sabrett beef hot dogs with classic New York toppings, including sauerkraut, chili and bacon, as well as mac and cheese and other offerings.
Complimentary potato chips are included with every order and customers can choose from other menu items like Frito pies and soft pretzels.
The restaurant is open during dinner and late nights, with hours going into the early morning on Fridays and the weekend. Customers can also order online for individual orders and catering purchases.
Going forward
NY Street Dogs' opening comes after talks of expanding Northgate and plans for the area by the College Station City Council. With plans to add a parking garage and the recent relocation of Abu Omar Halal food truck, Northgate is expanding its restaurant and commuting options.
