The College Station location of the Alabama-based “Wacked Out Weiner” hot dog restaurant has closed at Post Oak Mall after operating there for about a year.

The restaurant served Nathan’s beef hot dogs, along with sausage, nachos, loaded bowls and Frito pie. Owners JoAnne and James Haynes would also do pop-up events around Bryan-College Station, selling various food items and merchandise since 2024.
The restaurant’s Instagram released the news of its closure less than two weeks before its final day. Commenters on Facebook and Instagram wished the owners a great retirement, but the restaurant chain also closed a location in Spring last year, citing high rent and food costs, as previously reported by Community Impact.
